Event Snow Kung Mini Defense

Event period

• From December 23, 2023 until January 12, 2024.

How to participate

Once a day, you can participate in the Snow Kung Mini Defense, a one-man challenge to defend the camp against hordes of Snow Kungs.
First of all, speak with NPC Santa Claus, located in Giran, to receive a special event weapon. This weapon will give you the possibility to enter to the instance by talking to NPC Smirnof, located right next to Santa Claus.
Note: the event weapon blocks the usage of the normal character's skills. In case you don't want to enter to the instance right now, you can delete it and claim it back later from NPC Santa Claus.



Mini Defense Instance


Your mission is to protect the camp from the attack of the snow kungs during 10 minutes.
To defend the camp, you count with a Christmas Snow Kung Rod, an event weapon that grants you two special abilities:

• 
  Snowball Shot: long-range skill, click on the ground to launch a snowball and attack enemies withing a small range.
• 
  Snowball Fiesta: attack enemies around the character.

Be careful! Snow Kungs are coming from everywhere and they want to put out the bonfire at all costs!
Snow Kungs die when attacked 1 time. And for every Snow Kung you kill, you will earn points and a certain amount of Snow Crystal (Time-limited) will be given directly to your inventory.



Intermittently, Great Snow Kungs will appear, which you must attack twice to kill them. And since the greater the sacrifice, the greater the reward, killing Great Snow Kungs will give you additional points and Snow Crystal (Time-limited).



Every time a Snow Kung manages to get too close to the Bonfire, you will lose a life. You have a total of 4 lives, and if you lose all of them, the Bonfire will go out and the instance will end.



Once the 10 minutes have passed, or you have lost all your lives, Santa Claus will appear and reward you for your efforts.
Depending on the number of points you have achieved, you will get a certain amount of Christmas Sack (Time-limited).
Additionally, Santa Claus will give you a special buff and a Red Christmas Sock (Time-limited).



Christmas Sack

• Upon completing the instance, Santa Claus will give you as reward a certain amount of Christmas Sack (Time-limited). The received amount will depend on how many points you collected on the instance.

Event Buff

• The buff lasts 3 hours from the moment it was received. Persists after character death.

Exchange of Red Christmas Sock

• The Santa Claus Blessing buff can also be obtained from NPC Santa Claus in the city. To do this, take him the item Red Christmas Sock (Time-limited), received during the instance.
• The buff is applied to all characters within a 300 radius of NPC Santa Claus, it is not necessary to be in a party or command channel with the character who exchanges the fragment.
• Please note: when talking to the NPC Santa Claus in the instance and the NPC Santa Claus in the city, you will get the same buff, so we recommend that you wait until the buff from the instance ends, and only then receive the same buff from the NPC in the city. This will extend the buff duration by 6 hours.

Compounding the Snowman Dolls

• Lv. 1 Doll can be leveled up to level 15 by compounding with Snow Crystal (Time-limited).
• Compounding also requires Adena.
• If the compound fails, the level of the existing doll is saved.

Effects of Snowman Dolls

• Starting at 6th level, the Snowman Doll grants a passive effect to the character. All you need to do is to carry the doll in your inventory.

Exchange of Snowman Dolls for Rewards

• Starting at level 6, Snowman Dolls can be exchanged for useful rewards through the Special Craft.
• Some items can only be crafted once during the entire event period.

• Note: Doll Coupon Lv. 1 (Sealed), Rare Accessory Coupon (Sealed) and Special Armor Coupon (Sealed) are equal to those available at the L-Coin Store → Ancient Adena Store.

Items deletion

• Event-related items will be deleted upon event finishes.
